annex two <> PENANGGALAN.
Friday was awesome. Met up with Fenchurch at Kearny Mesa Bowl and I and her friends karaoked the night away. No bowling, just karaoke, which was more than fine with me. I also had 5 to 6 shots of Patrn and around two gin & tonics, and that did me up quite nicely.
Now an interesting thing was going on just as Fen and her pals (all my friends now, too at least Id like to think so) were leaving. I had just finished singing (if you can call it that) Led Zeppelins Ramble On when this girl from another table approached me about doing a duet. Shed been all into my Robert Plant impersonation (no, I wasnt really trying to impersonate Plant) and I guess was impressed. (Im thinking she shouldnt have been, but there you go.)
So we did one. We did Rod Stewarts The First Cut Is The Deepest together, and it was awesome fun. I was digging this girl big time.
Anyway, we all leave shortly thereafter (not together) and of course I ask her for her number. She says shell give it to me, but that shes only looking for a drummer to play music with. So I say sure! and she gives me her number.
Contrary to my inner dude telling me to wait two days, I call her very late afternoon the next day (Saturday) and leave a voicemail. I remark that she might have been unimpressed with my singing (I just felt I was a little too buzzed to do all that well), but that I thought shed definitely dig my drumming. She texts me very shortly thereafter and we do a little back/forth about how she really liked my singing, that last night was fun and that shes going to call about us getting together, musically.
My question is (and I know the above is not much to go on), does anyone think this girl is really just looking for someone to play music with? Im totally curious what anyone else might think because personally I have no idea what to expect.

Maybe she fed you the drummer thing so she has a chance to feel you out before heading down the "i like you" road...either way, sounds like you made a new, awesome friend and that's always fun
