It's been a good day at work. Thanks to another healthy dose of overtime last night, I am saved what would otherwise have been a mild shitstorm today.
Oooh. Oooh. And I just ordered this:

I saw this gnarly wrasslin' dude wearing it about a half hour into Aronofsky's The Wrestler (starring the righteous as hell Mickey Rourke - see him in Spun, Rourke came back six years ago!) Later I found out that the guy was the Necro Butcher (hadn't heard of him before, but the fucker's impressively insane.) And I suppose it helps that I really loved Darren's movie, a big reason for that being Rourke. (Admittedly, his part in Spun was a good degree smaller.)
Anyway, also 5 minutes ago bought this:
*Fart!* It's just a registration code so's I can start playing this beeitch wheneva! Now some of you kids might say, why pay for a reg code?! Torrent it! Well, I gladly paid $20 because Jeff Minter worked his ass off on this PC port, and his game was profoundly brilliant to begin with! I would have paid $50! And my ass be rather poor!
And I just want to say that aside from not having a whole lot of money, I recognize that I'm a fortunate guy. Among other things, I'm very lucky to have great friends here in San Diego, and to have at least some time to spend with them.
