I've just been going through tough times lately. I'm busy trying to figure out my life. And it's confusing.

They played funky/dirty/gritty techno all night. No Underworld. Just some amazingly good grooves. I was outside most of the time socializing, though. But I know there was no Underworld. It wouldn't have fit in with the other music they were playing.

I'm sory that your date sucked. i try not to go on dates anymore, just because I've never really had a good date. I've always kind of met a guy and fell in love before we could go on a "date" per se. Then again, I've only been in love once, so you know. Guys didn't reallty pay a lot of attention to me when I was younger. Hmmmmm... my dating life has been random.

ANYWAY... Lorin was amazing. No UW, but lots of luscious bass. I was in heaven.

Thanks for making me feel less-guilty about not running. I need to run more often, but I have zero will power and I'd much rather just cook dinner and veg out.......

I'm nervous for my set on Saturday.

My photoshoot went really well. Annabelle is an amazing girl and is so sweet and easy-going that I never felt nervous. Now I send it in and wait and hope. We'll see....

I totally understand that you can't make it to Lorin. If you're not diggin' the music, you won't have fun. Period. No point in spendin' money on something that doesn't move you.

I am excited about Lorin, but I'm also super tired from waking up at 5:30 to do my shoot. Time for a nap. zzzzzzzzzzz.

I don't think Lorin will play any Underworld. He mostly plays really bass heavy breaks. You can listen to some of his music at his website.

That's awesome about Lorin writing you back right away. He's amazing like that. He's really into forming connections with the people who dig his music, or just with people who dig music in general. He's an amazingly intelligent, politically active and inspired person. I really admire him. I reallly can't even tell you how excited I am about seeing him on Saturday.

I was just really exhausted today, and thoughtful, and a little bit sad. I'm a bit of a melancholic (though not as much as I used to be) and sometimes I just feel a general sense of sadness. Also, the baby I take care of is teething. Which is unpleasant to say the least. I just want to help him, but there's not much you can do for teething pain.

Thankfully, Monday is almost over and I'm about to get some much needed sleep.

Thanks for your nice comments about me looking briliant Friday night. I felt brilliant. Brilliant and confident. That's the best feeling to have (especially after all I've been through with my self-esteem._

Anyway, here I am spilling my guts to you. I'm so sleepy, so I apologize if I'm not making any sense. I'd like to go out to dinner with you one of these days. Anything that works for you... my weeks are usually pretty bland. It's my weekends that are crazy!

Underworld is touring?? Wonderful! I've heard a rumor that they have a new album coming out, but so far I have no proof of this. My computer is on crack and crashes whenever I go to their website, so I'm left to others to hear my Underworld news. I do hope they come to the US, and to San Fancisco in particular because then I'd be able to revel with all of my closest friends. I love me some Underworld.

Anyway, I was just wondering how you were doing. Drop me a line sometime and say hello.

Sure.. I'd like to go to the City Deli with you one of these days. Just let me know what works best for you and we'll figure something out. My weekends from now until the forseeable future are crazyness. Dancing every weekend! I don't suppose you like regular old bangin' tech house, but if you do, the Dragon Lounge on Friday is going to be amazing! I'll be there, getting my groove on and probably getting into some type of trouble....
