I just took Gouda for her first vet visit. She's FELV/FIV negative and 100% healthy! Right now she is purring in my lap. You're right- kitties are the best! I've had bad cat karma in the past, so when the vet gave her a clean bill of health, I was positively ecstatic.

I got the new computer- a beautiful 14" iBook G4. It's fucking amazing.

Ahh yes, vacation. Mine is less than a month away. I am going away for a week of R&R. I want to write, read and listen to music while being lazy on the beach with a drink in hand. Let's just hope that stress doesn't get the better of me first.

Hmm, Mars Volta. Well, I did buy the latest album. The Widow is an absolutely amazing song. Yes, it is overplayed on the radio, but amazing nonetheless. The rest of the album I'm still working my way through. It's one of those CDs I have to be in the mood for before listening. They were actually at the Weenie Roast a few weekends ago, but I arrived just as they finished their set.
