Born With Complications


If you look past the smile
you'll see the pain on her face
No one cared enough to take the time
to put her in her place
And she wont point the finger
she shoulders all the blame
It's no ones fault but her own
ever living inside the shame
Every morning is a reminder
of decimation to be rebuilt
Exhausting all her mental resources
just to clear away the guilt
And you can see it in her eyes
past the wavering ability to believe
She doesn't know how to fight
for things her heart can't concieve
You'll think that you can reach her
maybe there's a place you can touch
But she wont let you near her
possibility scares her way too much
Intentions always fall short of expectations
salvation seems a thing of dreams
Without knowing inside of this growing
if she'll ever be more than she seems.........
