I am Alive. I have been in this country for too long. We are constantly out on missions or doing stupid shit. It sucks when politics, heart of the people, chain of command, the enemy, and murphy's law is all against you. We are doing what we can though our hands are bound and are blindfolded. My sergeant was shot by a sniper a couple of weeks ago but it hit his arm and is back home now recovering because it did do some nerve damage. It is just so draining always busy and hearing people back home begging you to come home and stay safe. To be extended was taxing to all of us though I complain for all of us because we are supposed to be home and I don't want anymore of my guys hurt. We are very tired of being here but rumor has it that we are going back in Dec. sometime. I hope so if not sooner because I could use a beer and real sleep.
