Being medically examined and being intoxicated:

So, I got my medical examination (i won't discuss the specifics here), and at the end, I was intoxicated by the drugs they used to sedate me. That's the first time I've been intoxicated in my life, and it felt more normal than i woudl expect. I remember telling both my parents I felt suprisingly normal. My mom asked me some questions which I wouldn't been able to answer even if I was sober, but my dad asked me the square root of 144, and I correctly answered twelve, and I correctly offered up that the capital of Mongolia was Unlanbaator. It's probably just as well that I don't get intoxicated under normal conditions, because I'd probably put up a stink about how I feel normal and insist on driving myself. (Though, I didn't insist of driving home myself at the medical facility). I also said something to the Nurse like "My parents are very supportive, but they're driving me crazy! But they're very supportive! (Even while intoxicated, I had the good sense to add "They're very supportive" one more time). So that's my first experience with being intoxicated, hopefully it will be a while before I'm intoxicated, but it's comforting that I don't turn into (much of) an asshole
