OK, so I'm feeling better. Thank you guys soooo much for all the comforting thoughts. I buried Buster my Blue Heeler next to the pond. . . it may be silly, but I made him a head stone that says: If Love could have saved you, you would live forever. I had him for nine years. I got him when I was diagnosed with an illness (That I still have, though I'm doing better) and that dog really helped me through some tough times. He developed Cushings disease and there was nothing we could do. . within a week he went from chasing cats and going to the park with me, to laying on a bed I made for him and dying in my arms. He was so much more than a pet.

Now that you are all depressed, I'll lighten the mood a bit. I finally felt ready to look at puppies. . . . many people who know me were shocked when I brought home a Chihuahua!
But hey, I let the puppy pick me, not the other way around.

I've been making little punky sweaters for him, since all you can find at the stores are sequined tutus with chiffon overlays and "princess" in fake diamonds on the back I probably look like the freak version of paris hilton when I tote him around in his little studded pet bag. Fuck Paris Hilton.
