I forgot that when you're in school you can never read what you want to read. Its all about what THEY want you to read. I'm staring at my bookshelf full of wonderful things I could be reading. I really want to finish "Made in America" by Bill Bryson. I'll just have to dust it off after I get my stupid piece of paper that says "Yay! You spent thousands of dollars and will now be accepted by society! Off you go to work for the rest of your life." 
I learned today in my "Men and Masculinities" class about this tribe of baboons in Kenya that, after all the dominant males were killed of by TB , became a much more peaceful group. There were twice as many females suddenly so the remaining males in the group were much less aggressive. These males then seemingly passed this non-aggressive behavior on to their offspring. Then I read something that said more female (human) babies are being born than males. Maybe nature is fixing something?
