What a year... what a year....

First, thanks for all the holiday/birthday wishes! kiss They made me happy (yeah... that's pretty easy to do, but still...)

Life is always a balance of good and bad. Why is that? I guess always good would get rather boring after a while. And I guess I should be thankful that the good almost always outweighs the bad.

The Bad:
1. I lost my job. I like to say I was fired because I'm still pretty pissed about it, but it was really more a financial downsizing. But with that comes a whole bunch of animosity and bitterness and mistrust and I don't like that. mad
Right now... that is the only bad I can think of.

The Good:
1. My niece was born. Although she was a screaming fiend yesterday, she's a sweetheart and I can't wait til she gets older and hopefully all the strong women in my family will instill in her the need to grow up to be a strong woman. God, she's not even six months old and I'm already talking about her growing up. Sheesh...

2. I met my boyfriend. Through some very random acts of fate, we met and he is fabulous. I couldn't ask for someone more perfectly suited for me. Hell, I couldn't create a man more perfect for me and I am thankful everyday that the fates saw fit for us to meet.

3. I lost my job. Alright... so I believe in fate. I think everything happens for a reason, even if we don't know in the present why crappy things happen. So right now, I'm angered angered about losing my job, but who knows what the future holds for me. I guess you could say "the world is my oyster."
Or a great quote for anyone going through crap... "When one door closes, another opens; but we so often look so long and regretfully upon the closed door, that we do not see the ones which open for us." -Alexander Graham Bell

I know there were hundreds of little good and bad things that happened this year, but those were the biggies... the ones that are changing my life everyday. Anyways... I hope everyone has a great New Year's Eve and a fabulous 2005! And I hope that everyone's new year is filled with more good than bad!

Kisses!

I got my hairs cut at hair cuttery this AM....I was walking by and the girl had cute hair so I went in and said can you cut my hair and she did. I think its pretty good....of course they just cut, its extra to style, so I have to fuck with it but the cute seems good. i feel bad not going to tracy but I haven't been happy with my hair in like a year and shes too expensive to not be happy!
