serendipitous

Ack! My body is turning against me and is thinking about getting sick! I don't know why I'm surprised because I always try to get sick after a large seminar. I'll keep going and going, telling myself I don't have time to be sick. But once it's over and I lower my defenses, I get sick. Luckily, if I do actually fall ill, I'm never sick for long.

So I have a term paper due in a month for International Studies. I really do not know very much about foreign cultures other than those I've visited or those I'm obssessed with. So last night I started looking up some different things about various cultures, etc... and it hit me. I'm really going to have to go to Mexico one of these years for Day of the Dead. How smart are they? So many people are fearful of death, but Mexicans take 2 days each year to laugh in its face. And it's a big colorful party.... so so much fun.
