I am officially a reporter for a local website here in Tel Aviv, I love being able to say that. I review local events, restaurants, bakeries, tattoo parlors....EVERYTHING FABULOUS. I wrote my first review friday, on a local art exhibit, and it went up 2 days later. I reviewed my first restaurant this evening, and although I <3 free food, being a chef makes me maybe a bit more critical of food establishments then would be a reporter with no formal education on it. Thats a lie, im A LOT more critical, and I havent decided wether thats good or bad! Its a bit of a bad thing for tonights restaurant any how; the presentation was stunning but the food itself was not prepared all that well.
Anyhow, I have to go to bed so I can wake up at 6:45 to Skype my rents before they head off to the airport for Tel Aviv. Layla tov kulam.
