Wow. The friend of mine who did this painting of me just sent me a Photoshopped sample of what he plans to do with another photo we shot last year. He built me a pair of 6-foot wings and I was a butterfly. It was really cute, and...and...well, why don't I just post it:
It looks cute, but I think he picked the one where I look the squishiest. That's fuckin' it...I'm so going to the gym in the morning.
I made $30 at work today and gave $20 to my friend who's doing the walk for cancer or whatever...so another $10 day. How the bloodclot am I supposed to move out if I keep on being po?
My boss put me in charge of music for the clubhouse this year...and I was like "Dudey, do you know what I listen to? I don't think the members are going to like all the screaming," and he goes, "Don't you have like, some David Gray or something?" I'm like, "Who the fuck is that?"
But apparently I do have some old man friendly music, because I ended up burning 5 whole CDs (110 songs) of my tamest stuff. So far everyone loves me. I mean, it. I went heavy on the Arcade Fire, Coldplay, Jack Johnson, Citizen Cope, and Snow Patrol...and even managed to sneak The Get Up Kids in there for a little Lion and the Lamb action.
Now we have music at work. 'Twas fun dancing today.
