what a trip. i went ot ottawa for rememberance day and what was going to be a parade quickly turned into a three day bender. the most sleep i ogt in a single night was 4 hours. there i was standing in front of the cameras on the parade just trying to keep it together and look professional. the good part is you knew that the guys to your left and right were in the hurt locker just as bad a s you were. some even worse.
the down side was listening to soldiers who have never left the country give you their opinion on afghanistan or tell you war stories. i don't care about your basic training!
only about a month to go till christmas leave. i can't wait, in the meantime i just started a shooting course which is pretty good so far.
