it was my birthday, nah nah nah nah nah
thanks everyone for the b-day wishes! le tigre and i, along with a lovely posse of our lady friends, i like to call us the pussy posse, went out to femina potens, tina's gallery to "sizzle". that was awesome. we cut out a little early though to catch the last seating at chez panisse back in the east bay. we had some great appetizers, ahem, CRAB IS IN SEASON!! and orgasmic desserts. actually just my special birthday dessert was orgasmic, you would believe it if you had seen the faces of the pussy posse as i passed the plate for all to try. AND they sang to me the most beautiful and in tune rendition of the happy birthday song that i had ever heard!!! really it sounded great. i was surprised. cuz usually those women can't really sing that well, except for le tigre that is. she has an awesome voice. we got out of the restaurant around midnight, then it was off home with me, i had to work at 6:30 am this morning. when i got to work and tried to say good morning to my co-worker, i realized that i had no voice! so i spent the whole day whispering and sounding like a frog. that was hard cuz i really like to talk. goodnight!

As for my rat, long story short: He died after having surgery and the vet was so sorry, he let me pick from a litter of rats that had just been born. So now I have a new rat and I named him Sven, but I find myself accidently calling him by my last rat's name (Twix) because he's such a tweaker!
Oh, and happy belated birthday!
Having no voice sucks. (but of corse you know that) I've only lost my voice once, after forcing down a meal "specially made" for me by the person I was currently dating. (I swear, she put broken glass in that thing!)
