Update on my oh-so-interesting romantic life, if it can be called that:
"S" and I were talking when her friend showed up and joined us. Her (female) friend, in the course of discussing a girl who liked her, claimed to be Bi-sexual. She then realized what she had done and appeared worried that "S" might get freaked out or angry. She is a Mormon after all. "S" didn't bat an eyelash or appear in the slightest bit phased and made a hurried motion for her friend to continue with the story.
I dunno. I haven't broken up with her yet. I keep thinking that she hasn't shown me everything yet. Maybe there is a chance it could still work out. Thus far, she doesn't seem particulalry offended by cursing or homosexual behavior. She also didn't seem upset about a few sexual jokes about S & D I threw in there, on purpose, and even joined in. I did mention in my last entry that I was aware that her religious denomination didn't necessarily spell out her beliefs. I've met more than a few horny Catholic girls, which several of my Catholic girlfriends and I have been joking about lately.
I've told her about this site, very vaguely, but doubt she'll sign on. If she does read all the things I've said about her, I'll be impressed and my opinions on her will immediately improve, but I doubt it.
Whatever, we'll see.
My ex is in town tomorrow for Rosh Hashannah (Jewish new year for those of you who don't know). She wants to meet up. She also wants me to visit her up in Durham, where she moved to get away from me ;-). Not sure how I feel about this. Excited for one.
By pure coincidence, I'm talking to her now. Just called as I was writing this. She might get online and check this out. She's a big feminist and will probably love this site. We'll see.
I haven't talked about her much in this journal, for a reason. I don't know any of you, assuming there ARE any of you, and that is a much more personal subject than anything else I've talked about. If someone asks me to, I'll know someone cares and give more details. Till then . . .
