-I've been trying to volunteer at the Ada Jenkins Center (Salvation Army/ Boys and Girls Clubs of America) for some time now as a tutor, which they apparently really need. My last journal entry talks all about it. whatever.
-I went down there today to watch a video on how not to touch children and fill out this application, which took me 45 minutes to complete. Not sure how many pages long it was. The director there seems like a nice guy, and is also pretty heated up about this rediculous application. He also had to fill it out and get approved, and he already works there! Morons. Salvation Army sucks ass.
-I'm also a tad nervous about "living up to the Salvation Army's religious message" for these children. I assume I don't need to preach, and I'm probably not allowed to. I'll just assume I'm supposed to be a good little boy and keep my wandering hands to myself. Damn, I was hoping to take a little boy into a closet sometime soon, but at this rate, I'll never get the chance! Bastards.
