An old college buddy of mine, Nick, called me up out of the blue to find out what I've been up to lately. I miss these guys. Not having a job really blows. A little money and I'd visit them frequently. It wouldn't even cost that much; just a short train ride from Charlotte to Greensboro.
So, next week is Spring break, and Nick and I are going up to GB to play (I've been promised) non-stop role-playing games: Vampire the Masquerade, Battletech (which, granted, is more of a board game), and maybe he'll even talk me into a little D&D. There is also a hot girl that I've had my eye on for awhile, but I was content with Rachel, my ex, while I was living up there, and so left her alone. She's seeing someone once every few months in Texas, but I think I can drag her away from that loser. If she's willing to try long distance relationships like that, then Charlotte is significantly closer than Dallas.
How could I just break up a happy relationship? The last few dozen men she's dated have turned out to be losers; the last few I knew would leave her crying, and I have the same feeling about this moron. They've been on two dates in four? months, so forgive me if I'm skeptical about their love. Besides, if I'm the better man for her, than I would be doing her a disservice by standing aside for this guy, no?
Seriously, not expecting much luck with her, but I've always admired her.
So, gone for a week or so. I know no one here at sg will miss me much while I'm away, but I love you all anyway. Sorta.

1) wizards of the coast is awesome! I just wish they'd put out a Star Wars suppliment regarding the new movie and even the time in between the two trilogies. I've only ever played D&D and some Star Wars but I'm developing what I hope to be an epic LOOOOOONG campaign in SW D20. I've aquired (some legally) all the books
2) rumor has it Blizzard is starting development on Diablo 3. I'm still waiting on Starcraft Ghost
