Today I was told by my boss that there weren't any contratcting positions open for me in my office for when I get out. I was kind of pissed because that means I'd have to actually go out looking for a job.
Later in the day his boss came in and said she needed to talk to me. We sat down and she told me that she had a couple government civilian slots opening up and if I would be interested in one. I found this pretty weird to get news that I didn't have a job lined up and then a couple hours later getting told that not only do I have a job lined up but an even better one.
Things are pretty good right now. Aside from still being somewhat sick, all is well.
