Today has just been one of those days; a day where I've just been pushed to the end of my tether. I've not been enjoying my work recently and today was the worst day for ages - for reasons I won't go into here.

Today was distinctly one of those days where I left work 45 minutes late, destined to grab some chinese on the way home as a means of picking up my mood (I'm already suffering with a cold...), but receive a text message requesting more work. So after I'm done eating I dive back into work.

It's just been one of those days where I just really wanted someone to hug and bitch to about the entire world. Yet all I can think of is how much I'd like the chance to show [the un-named person of my attention] what I'm all about.

Chatted to her on messenger while curled up on the sofa watching a Machine Head DVD she'd loaned me; made me feel better. So, all in all, an utterly toss day. I dreamt last night about my first day of University; that I was 18 again, able to take another run at my life up until this point. I woke up after that with a stinking head-cold, in a cold apartment, with no one next to me and thought "FML".

Hopefully tomorrow will be better, albeit unlikely
