However much I try to avoid this high fidelity crap I still find myself doing it. Now that I'm single (after having only 3 months of single-ness since I was 18, gawd, that was 6 years ago) I'm re-evaluating what I am looking for in a girl.
1/ Some level of intelligence
I don't need a book-smart girl, just because I am (well, technically) doesn't mean she needs to be. She does however need to have a clue. I cannot spend my entire life explaining what words mean or having my metaphors taken literally. Looking confused when I refer to "Pavlov's dogs" is a bad start.
2/ Interested in the same scene?
Having never been with a girl who cares for the same music as I, I think it would be a nice option. Music is a massive part of my life (I attribute it with guarding my sanity) so it'd be nice if this was common ground. I love gigs, I just don't like going alone.
3/ Tell me something I don't know and make me laugh
Making me laugh is the sexiest thing a girl can do.
4/ Understand that I *need* my man-cave
5/ Just be prepared to accept me as I am
I am flawed, I am not in the best shape I've ever been but I am honest, moral and true. Too many girls try to change me to be something I'm not and that's just not something I need right now.
Just some idle musings for this Thursday evening. The perfect girl is out there somewhere, I just need her to lower her standards enough...

Keep your standards true believer, I've always believed that there are loads of people out there perfect for everyone, sometimes they find you easily and sometimes they don't. But they do find you eventually.
