Well Download has ended and I've been left reflecting on not attending.
My ex-girlfriend went, which I thought was a funny move considering how much she hated the couple of gigs we went to while we were together (Trivium and Still Remains being two she distinctly hated). Yet seemingly really enjoyed Slipknot? Go figure.
So I've been milling around this weekend feeling a little conflicted about the Download situation; the line-up gave me a semi, but the notion of running into (or hell, even going with) the ex made me a little uneasy.
Ho hum, Download and Graspop next year is on the cards so we'll see. Either way, it's good to see Download get a proper line up this year considering how dire it looked in '08.
