I'm going to have a new camera in two days. Beginning either that same night or some time in the new future, I will be taught the process of developing film.

There aren't any proper words to describe the level of jazzed I am right now. The possibility of a creative outlet that actually rings true to me both thrills and terrifies me in ways I haven't experienced since being a four year-old, playing with Play-Doh, and not giving a damn whether or not it turned out well by anybody's standards but my own. Also, even if the photos are non-toxic, I don't intent to rip pieces off and eat them.

Not that I, you know, did that with Play-Doh.
