In town, for Fiestas De Quito, outside the Plaza De Toros.
Went to a soccer game...Quito Vs Barcelona. Quito won 2-0. Shit got a lil crazy after the game. Believe what ya hear about futbol fanatics.
Here is Ingapirca, Incan ruins outside of Cuenca. The main building is the temple of the sun. I got a sunburn there. How fitting!
Outside of Cuena...this is some serious altitude. The highest I was this trip. Last year, we were doing some hiking on Cotopaxi, an active volcano outside of Quito. There, we were over 14500ft. But 13000 is pretty crazy too...hard to breathe, for sure.
In Cuenca, there is this place called Prohibido Centro Cultura where we saw a monologue with an actor who plays a schizophrenic, very bizarre ... anyways the place is decorated with murals, artifacts and various art. Very morbid, dark and death metal-ish I guess is a way to describe it. I could show you a bunch of pictures of it but this one pretty much sums it up. This was the sink next to the bathroom, how crazy is this?
I saw this gem in a store that sold bootleg DVDs. If you follow MMA, UFC104 was in Los Angeles. Not Shakespeare's Pub in Austin TX. haha
Some of the things I miss most about Ecuador is the ceviche, ahi and beer. Just doesn't compare to what we have access to here in the states.
And what's a awesome vacation without meeting some honeys? Here's me with a few of them
So, that's a small sample of what I was up to. There is plenty more places and experiences but you get the idea...I definitely miss my family and friends there. Can't wait to go back! Hope everyone has a great time during the holidays, much love!!
