Oy... where has time gone? Seriously... it's like... I'm Riff Raff and the "Time Warp" has happened more times than I can count.

So yes... exciting things in my world lately. Quite exciting.

Firstly: I'm part of a wedding party. This totally threw me off and I'm utterly honoured. Like, you guys have no idea... Ted's one of my best friends and when he said that he wanted me to be part of the party, and I was in the running for Best Man... well, dang... And I also get to share Best Man duties... I don't really know what this entails... but I'm stoked and all that jazz. WHOOOOOOO!

Secondly: I'm getting promoted at work. That's right. After EIGHT YEARS... they're making me a supervisor. There's a small catch... It's a three month trial, and then whomever's best gets it permanently... which I hope is me, 'cause I believe everyone at my work likes me and respects me to some degree... and the other candidate is... well, she's nice and all, but I'm not going to spread any ill will... if both of us are good, well, we both get it.

So, that's the EXCITING NEWS *jazz hands and spirit fingers*....

And now for the Christmas update....

So, I worked Christmas Eve until morning, I got home at 7am... we opened presents between our immediate family and as usual my nephew cleaned up.
I had a nap, woke up, did more cleaning... and then the rest of the family came over.
Here's my haul:
- two long sleeved t-shirts
- a Family Guy t-shirt
- "Hot Shots" DVD
- Gift Cert. for the local bookstore
- Movie passes for the local theatre
- Velour-ish sleep pants [that I was iffy 'bout, but they're growin' on me]
- Death Star Pez dispenser
- Spongebob and Simpsons ornament sets
- Money from Grandparents [$75]
- Toiletries
- Pot of Gold chocolates
- Socks

Afterwards, I got my cousins and sister to play "DDR: Mario Mix" *endless giggles* and my brother and sister's fiancee to play "Donkey Kong's Jungle Beat"... awesomesauce.
Dinner was good... I got tuckered around 9, slept until 7am to be woken up by our new Grandfather Clock... hehehehe, it's so cool.

Then the next day I worked and The Scientician picked me up from work, we watched "Top Secret" and I crashed there 'cause it was his birthday the day after...
So, we had pizza and played Settlers of Catan, Cranium, and I managed to con them into playing Blank White Cards.... a good time was had by all...

Wednesday The Tonedeaf Paramedic and I drove to Orillia to hang with Ted and such... we ate sushi, went to see "King Kong" and conned them into playing DDR before the movie... we went shopping and here's the oddest thing...
I made sure to get an advance from my boss so I'd have enough money to do stuff... I didn't buy anything extra other than food or snacks.
WEIRDNESS!
We ended up watching "So I Married an Axe Murderer" and crashed there...
We left that morning and I came home to just chill... slept some and then went to work.

Anyway... that's about all I can think happened for today.. it was a good weekend and such... good things are happening and coming soon.
Holly is supposed to come visit and meet my family.... WHEEEEEE! I'm stoked.
Anyway... got some adventuring to do... and... I just remembered some books I'm gonna order..
