Today Alex, Nate, Chris (a damn good guitarist) and I finished session one of recording for my friend's production class. I'm fucking excited about it because it's sounding really good so far. Bass and drum tracks got done in 3 hours (record time), and the next session we will add the guitar tracks. I can't wait until the song is completed and mixed because we are definately going to post the finished product on myspace. I forgot how freaking awesome it is to play metal, and how fun it is to be in a studio. Makes me get the giggles inside. I'm in a mood to create some nice in your face musically inclined metal, so I am hoping Chris and I will meet up this Sunday. I'm thinking he is the guitarist I've been trying to find for the past year and a half...therefore I am thinking of starting a project with him.
Session 2 is March 5th...it will be a day of epic guitars and dueling solos. WOOT!
