The baby shower went well.
Once Joe and his Mom got back here I started feeling better.
I was able to put together some of the food trays
I enjoyed it, and they turned out really nice, everyone thought that we bought them from somewhere, and considering that I've never but any kind of tray together before that made me feel good.
We didn't have quite the turn out that we originally figured, since alot of people had things come up last minute, or couldn't get here due to gas prices. We were planning on having 30 -35 ppl. But only had 14 show, which is still a good turn out for a shower, so we just had alot of extra food.
We got alot of cute little baby outfits and blankets, but we still have alot of stuff that we need to get before Isaac gets here.
I was really tired by the time the shower ended, it's amazing how much just be social can sap away all of your energy, and I ate too much sweet stuff and not nearly enough 'real' food.
But it was nice to talk to Joe's Aunts and everyone about their pregnancies and babies.
Dispite Joe's Mom being controling about things like this, I get along really well with his family. And think of them as my own. They've all been great to me over the years, and they are supper excited about the baby, exspecially since he will be the first baby born to carry on the family name, and unless we have another boy in the future, he'll be the only boy to carry on the family name.
Well, I'm gonna go scrounge up some food then head to bed.
