The Gulf Coast is trashed & where are your elected officials that should be in DC voting on funding to help the people caught up in this? On vacation. Yes, I know they're scattered to the four corners of the globe, but the day the levy broke they should've dropped what they were doing & headed back to DC. Instead they stayed on vacation while people suffered. Then we heard that they were debating whether to meet now or wait until next week to "debate" the relief effort. The fact that they're even "debating" it makes me want to demand the resignation of every member of congress. You don't debate, you help. That's what people should be doing. Appearently the "Greed is good" slogan is alive, well & being used to take advange of this tragedy.
