I've got the post-vacation-spring-is-springing-don't-wanna-go-to-work blues.

Well, it's not really the blues. It's just sheer sloth.

Just ate tons of steak with amazing aioli. I'm feeling fat and sleek and ready to hibernate. Too bad it's late March.

Work was okay today. First day back after vacation is always a bit of a chore.

I splurged on make-up at lunchtime. Now I have a really nice dark grey-blue eyeliner and silly pink lip stuff. I foresee a season of intense girliness...

Went to get pierced yesterday but they didn't have the right length barbell, so I have to wait until later in the week. Frustrating feeling, but also comforting to know that they're a professional outfit who won't fuck around just to make a sale.

Back from LA. Interesting trip. Mostly about hanging with family, but also some good quiet time in the sun.

The Fluevogs are now mine.

Heading out in a few hours. Tomorrow night I plan to watch the sun set over the Pacific.

In the meantime, I'm blissed out on a fabulously tasty weekend with lovely friends in a ridiculous venue. We spoiled ourselves rotten and we were pretty bad to begin with.

Oddness.

I went into Iodine + Arsenic this afternoon to buy soap and ended up getting my hair cut. I never do spontaneous things like that.

I think I should take my temperature.

Off to make dinner with my sweetie's main squeeze. It's the Squeeze's bday.

And there was pineapple for dessert. So yummy.

Four days to LA and oh, I have bronchitis.

Still all gross and stuffed up. I wish I could skip work today, but both my bosses are away for March break. Blech.
