I've done that thing again where I haven't posted a blog for aaages. I need to stop doing that...
So, what's been going on in my little world you ask? Well I've been seemingly confined to the office as punishment for taking too much sick leave when I bust my shoulder. I'm slowly going stir-crazy in there! Can't believe it's been nearly four months since I last left the country! This is totally unprecedented for me :o On the bright side, Shanghai, Bangkok and Singapore are all still on the horizon... just got to make it till September and I'll hopefully be off doing some exciting work again, rather than writing procedure manuals to install win7 on an enamel rater ;)
I also have a date! With an actual girl and everything! Totes shocking ;) I'm actually off on that one tomorrow and we've been chatting for a good couple of weeks now, so hopefully it all goes well. I kinda guess my next update will either be all excited and happy about this, or some kind of ranty mess... time will tell ;)
I've also been back out on the bike as much as possible (at least while weather dodging). I seem to be back up to pre-crash speeds again and looking at ways to progress my riding by improving line choice and generally pinning it a shit-ton faster than I ever thought I'd go a few years ago! The spin bike I bought to gice me something to do during recuperation is also appearing to pay dividends. I'm feeling a damn sight fitter than I've ever felt before and my calves are now totally solid... not a smidgen of fleshiness left. Means I've been monstering the climbs like never before and having plenty left in the tank afterwards too. This is making me exceptionally happy and making want to ride more than ever (just hopefully not throught the side of a mountain again ;) ).
Anyways, I've a bunch of RL stuff to get on with... got a good mates 40th on Saturday which is bound to get messy, and I'm off to see Reel Big Fish on Wednesday too. Good times :)
