Soooo... Time I wrote some stuff again I guess. Kinda forgot how therapeutic it is to write shit like this and put it out there, even if it's complete inanity... I find it clears the head wonderfully, which is always a good thing in the jumbled mass of my brain.
Anyways, what have I been doing since last time? Well, we've finished the internal build on my mates VW, there's a few bits and bobs left to connect (like the rest of the electrics) but shouldn't be more than an hours work... this is good as it means I can actually start putting time back into mine and finish her off properly!
My attempts at getting out and dating again have kind of dissolved into nothingness. I've been nosing around on both Tinder and OkCupid, and managed a few conversations, but nothings really materialising out of them. Tinder in particular is proving mostly fruitless, although I've a couple of female friends who are also trying it out and it's interesting to see the differences in approach from either side... their general consensus is that all guys swipe right and then don't message if they match. I've concluded that I'm obviously doing this all wrong as I'm only liking girls I have stuff in common with AND like the look of... apparently I should be less picky... bollocks to that! There's an epic girl out there somewhere with totally perfect music taste, and a burning desire to go touring in a campervan...
She will be mine. Oh yes, she will be mine. ;)
