Okay, now that I've had some time to breathe.

I'm not going to quit my job...yet. I do really hate having to pick up the slack of some of the day shift employees, but I think I'm just going to ride it out until after the summer. It probably would look a lot better on my resume too.

I am still thinking about going to school though. Ideally, I'd like to go to Old Dominion University, a school that a bunch of my friends all already go to. I hang out with them a lot down there, so I figure I might as well apply and see if I can get it, right? I'd like to maybe study music or business. Whatever I do, I'd at least like to sprinkle in some fine arts or history classes. That's really all I ask.

Things are going to change around here, I just would rather they happen sooner than later. But, before I know it, I'll be moving into my new house and settling in to what I hope to be my last home before I attempt school.

I think I honestly stress myself out more than I should. I'm too young to worry as much as I do.

Today, my good friends in Provoke, Destroy released their very first EP, which is Self-Titled. Any of you could go buy it on iTunes if you like! Since I'm their current merch guy, I'll be selling their CDs/stickers/shirts/etc at shows and whatnot. I'm so happy to finally get my foot in the door of the world of music merchandising, even if it is for a local band (I doubt they'll stay local much longer, they're doing so well) right now. There's been talks of making me their lighting designer/tech, which I would also really love to do. I've already sort of been made their instrument tech as well, which again, is another position I'm glad I've gotten my foot in the door with. As far as being an instrument tech goes, I'd really love to be a legitimate drum tech, as drums are my forte.

By the way, I don't mean to be that guy that promotes his friends' band all over so you guys and gals will buy stuff and whatnot. I'm really just trying to spread the music, which is what matters to me. I mean, of course it would be really awesome of you guys and gals to go check them out or maybe buy the EP, but I'm not like, trying to force it or anything, you know? It was so great seeing the guys all happy to finally be on iTunes. It was a great moment. They've got a lot of heart, and I definitely want to see them go far with this.

PS, thanks to everyone for the kind words. It's been a bit of a rollercoaster for me emotionally lately. Life, to me, is just one big carnival ride, and I'm trying my hardest to throw my hands up and enjoy every bit of it, but sometimes I get stuck. I know I'll make it through, though. I have to.
