So I got off work tonight and went to the bar to write for a bit. They have recently added an open mic night to their schedule. I had to leave after fifteen minutes, mostly cause they had the sound up way to loud and I couldn't stand the people hacking up old songs. I give them props for getting up there, but play some original shit! Its doubly bad when Its an overplayed song AND they sing it badly. Freaking karaoke.

wtf is up with the pyrotechnics???? apparently, this is the essence of a 'rock show' my friends that like them tell me. i think they don't need the flashy bullshit...
