so I made it through work today....ugh. the world is covered with a thick layer of ice, and I broke down and drove to work after I fell three times on my street. I had a fun time this weekend, I went to Columbus to help a friend's business out. He was selling cards at a magic tournament there, and his partner was in pittsburgh, so I went out there basically to be a second body. We were supposed to leave Friday as soon as I got off work at 9:30, and head to columbus, which is like 3 1/2-4 hour drive. well, due to him not having his shit together, we didn't leave till midnight, which with the roads being crappy, meant we didn't check into the hotel until 4:30. which meant that we both got a nice and frosty two hours of sleep before we had to be at the tourny site at 8. we got there, and I was fine until about 6 pm, and I just crashed. Im getting old and can't go without sleep anymore. We stayed until ten, but I was barely concious. We then went to BD's Mongolia Barbeque, which was excellent, and then went back and crashed at about 11:30. dinner was interesting, because we had dinner with the former head of Troll&Toad, which is one of the biggest card dealers in the country. he had just quit this past week, and he is one of the most intensly business-minded people I have ever met, and every time I get to hang out with him I have an interesting time. Sunday was tons better, partially because I got some sleep and partially because it was a ton slower. The drive home was pretty intense, but I made it in one piece, and I crashed shortly after I made my post yesterday.

All in all, it was a fun tiring weekend. I made a couple hundred bucks and got a free trip to columbus. I saw a couple of SG stickers on binders in the crowd, but we were too busy for me to make any connections. Now Im back to work, and I get to see Shawna tomorrow!!!! All is right.
