@wasted123 partially, there are a lot of problems. A plethora. But a huge amount of it is that the system of government here was built to oppress people and actively miseducates and overworks the rest of us so we don't have the energy to dismantle it. So in some ways the isolation might have been a large catalyst for much overdue change.
