Goodmorning everyone!

Time to write the first "real" blog of mine in ages. To start off, I had a great night out last night with Rourke, Phecda, and Frolic. Those girls are seriously awesome and I had a blast. We went hopping around the Short North during Gallery Hop even though it was freezing and maybe twenty degrees out at best. It reminded me that I really do need to go winter shopping and totally redo my wardrobe. I need more heavy winter stuff now that I'm going to be out walking in it more often. Anyways I hope I can hang out with those three beautiful, sexy, and fun beauties some time soon!

Yesterday I downloaded some DLC for Borderlands. Essentially Dr. Ned [Who is totally not Dr. Zed in disguise at all! Why would you think that?] turns %98 of the population on this new island which belongs to the Jakob's Corporation into zombie and there is all sorts of spooky stuff. Just imagine if you will if the Nightmare Before Christmas was mashed up with Evil Dead, set in the Bayou, and played out in Borderland. That's sort of what this is like. Apparently their are 50 new missions in this area so I'll keep me occupied for at least today, but knowing me and my roommate we will have it finished by tonight. We're such geeks! And speaking of games with horror aspect in them I just found out about a new game called Metro 2033 that looks amazing. Apparently it's a an action-based survival horror FPS set in a post-nuclear apocalyptic world. If that means it's anything like a combination of Fallout 3 and Dead Space [without the formers epic length or the latter's insane difficulty] then you can count me in! BTW is anyone has the new Assassin's Creed, please come over and let me play it. I need to get my hands on that sometime soon!

In the miscellaneous category I may have a job for over the break. A friend of mine who works as a caricature artist at the Columbus Zoo put me in there for a job as one of those pesky photographers. It's not much but its only seasonal until school starts up which is good for me and bottom line, I'm unemployed and I need a job! I also rented two movies over the past week which are amazingly good. The first is a British drama/thriller name Franklyn which is so hard to describe that I won't even attempt it. Look up the trailers for it and prepare to be amazed by the movie. You'll be confused as to what exactly is going on through 80% of it but you'll slowly piece it together as it moves on. The other is an amazing Norwegian Horror-Comedy involving Nazi Zombies called Dead Snow. This film is easily a new favorite of mine. It's a slow start but by the end you'll be laughing your head off. At one point a character gets his arm bitten so he cuts it off with a chainsaw and than cauterizes the wound all my himself. The poor sap is standing there with 2 others just sorta in a awkward stillness over what just happens, when a zombie flips up out of the snow and bite the guy right in the nads! So what does the guy do? He says fuck it and punches the zombie off him and continues on with the movies. EPIC! I also went to see the Fantastic Mr. Fox and I was blown away, if you love Wes Anderson's previous stuff you will adore this movie. The style of it isn't for everyone but I loved it and I want to go see it again! Any takers?

I'm gonna watch Fantastic Mr. Fox with my sister once I get home for winter break.

I really really really want to play the new Assassin's Creed, Ratchet & Clank, and Batman games on the PS3... but that would mean a $300 base investment that, unfortunately, I do not have at the moment. mad

I want to hang out with SG's too!! tongue. Once I get into the SG Chicago group hopefully I'll get to meet a couple of them smile

Yeah, a video game addiction can be a rather expensive habit to fuel.
