ugh.

i suck. i am just entirely too lazy to update regularly. heh.

anywho, here's what's up with me:

my record is _almost_ done and we
can almost start thinking about the "next" big thing.

we've been collecting up gear and honing our chops on
easy stuff up to this point. recording drums was kind
of a shock- it definitely did not work out as we
planned. which is OK. we needed the reminder to keep
things simple and manageable until confident enough to
complicate everything. therefore, drums were recorded
mono in the room with *gasp* only two mics. i think
tim was more bummed than i was about that. i kinda
like lo-fi. that should be easier to mix for a couple
of chumps like us. heh.

2005 should be even crazier than 2004, if everything
works out. i have to figure out how (or if) we can
play these songs out, put a band together and get on
rehearsing. then i know i'm going to want to write a
bunch of new stuff, 'cause the current stuff is 6
months to a year old already.

we also want to start recording other bands, some
strangest places stuff, and get a studio going. if
i'm lucky, i won't have time to worry about anything
else.
