HALLO!!
Everyone has been asking me so I may as well update. Yes, I had a great birthday thank you. I got lots of dvds and cds I wanted, a new book (The Historian - read it, it's AMAZING so far and i've only read 5 chapters!), some nice bath smellies and some cool new 10mm jewellery for my ears which I'm going to stretch again this evening.
The night after my birthday I met two friends from work, Jade and VexKevavich and we went for lots of drinks and games of pool in several different pubs, then yes, you guessed it...to rock city. Had a pretty good night, saw my sister there as well which was really nice. I'd had a really good time until the stupid lanky streak of piss ex-boyfriend turned up with a few old college friends and started dancing with a stupid blonde whore that I didn't know who was with them. Needless to say my night pretty much sucked after that. Urgh. He's a cockhead and I'm not jealous, I don't want him back, I just don't want to see him. Alright yeah it's horrible seeing him with someone else but I'm slowly starting to accept the fact it's going to happen. I just didn't think it'd be so quick for him to get over me.. huh. Am I that forgettable?
Anyway, enough about that shitfaced prick.
Friday morning I got up with one serious hangover, packed a few clothes and got the train to Leeds to go and meet Kit, who I must add is one of the lovliest girls I've ever met! We did a bit of shopping in town then headed back to hers where I met a couple of her friends, her boyfriend (who is also lovely) and also briefly met Electro. That evening we headed out to the West Indian Centre for Subdub (which on the flyer was described as "The Vanguard of Dub Iration Steppas; The spiritual steppin' warriors playing dubz in a year 3000 style"
) It was an amazing night, at the end I ached all over from dancing and was absolutely soaked from sweat. Nice. haha.
I got home about an hour ago, I really do need to go to bed now..we didn't get back to Kit's til the early hours of the morning and didn't sleep til even later so I really need to get some kip.
Tomorrow shall be spent taking Humbug for a hack. Back to work on monday
