Thanksgiving went great, I was really happy to have so many people over it was a throwback to being a kid back in NY with the whole family.
I must now push on to the next holiday nightmare, CHRISTMAS! We already have the tree up and decorated, and I have already lost an ornament to one of the cats.

I honestly don't have much to say, I have been prety busy editing for Harvard ,playing video games, and cooking.
some thoughts on each
Editing - I should have kept my big mouth shut about the stupid red line map travel thing. grrrrrr
Video games - assassin's creed is awesome i have no problem with repetitive gameplay when the gameplay is worth repeating. super mario galaxy is incredible, for realz its the best Wii game yet by far. I had all but given up on my little white funbox and it's amazing shaky stick. If only third party game manufacturers could make games like Nintendo can.
Cooking - I have a left over recipe for yall.
Wicked Corn Chowda
16oz bag frozen corn
1/2lb diced bacon
1/2 stick butter
2 diced yellow onions
1 cup chopped carrots
4 red potatoes
1 diced turnip
3cups chicken or turkey stock
1cup half and half or heavy cream
1cup mashed potatoes
fry bacon and set aside, drain the pan of most the bacon fat leave about a tablespoon toss onion and carrot in fat and sweat. add corn and saute until there is some color to the onion and corn.
dump everything i the pan into a stock pot or even better a crock pot
add diced potatoes, turnips, stock, cream, and butter. bring to a light simmer and cook till potatoes and turnips are tender then stir in the mashed potatoes.
garnish with bacon and maybe some chopped scallions for color.
salt and pepper to taste
