So I am not gonna whine about not sleeping this time around. I'm just bored and feel like getting my thoughts About work in order. What better way then to blog about it.

As some of you may or may not know, I'm currently trying to launch a game store both online and at a brick and mortar location.

I'll sum it up In a Koopa shell
We deal in used games.
So what? so does Gamestop. This is truth however we are focusing on retro games and imports, and lets face it Gamestop kinda sucks now. Remember when you could go into a game store and ask how to play games? Try it now. Go Ahead. see if they don't try and sell you a strategy guide instead.
So why go to All Your Game Are Belong to Us?
Ever played Famicom? No you haven't.
Wanna play Some NES or Sega Games? Well I got 'em.
Wanna get your old system up and running? Done.
Wanna get rid of Old Games? Yes someone will buy Bubble Bobble.
Wanna be able to get a decent trade in on that game you bought, opened, and ripped to your hardrive? Rip it and return it, I don't care.
I have a location picked out and I have a good deal of merchandise already its just the rent, insurance and fixtures I have to nail down. I applied for a few business grants but honestly I don't know what my chances are of getting them. I don't need a ton of cash to get started but I am unfortunately flat broke at the moment. If anyone knows a way to scrape up between and five and ten grand let a brother know.
In less discouraging news I purchased the Web space for Allyourgame.com this weekend and hopefully we will be live shortly.
I am also gonna start organizing events to help promote the store and scrape up cash. I'm thinking a Kareoke night at the local pub but with Guitar hero or Wii sports bowling league what ever we will see if that shit works out. Eventually I would like to have a retro game night going in Boston.
Oh and a couple of Calendars I have someone illustrating one and I figure I know enough beautiful gamer girls I may be able to throw something together.
