I am living in a town up the north coast called Bungadurg right now. Its pretty small, we are here to work though so its alright. We were living in the car for about a week but finnally checked into a hostel. The hostel arranges work for all the backpackers that are there, they pick you up and drop you off, so its pretty mindless. I worked 10 hours with a 15 minute break picking tomatoes today ..... sooooooooooo shitty, I hate it the farmer was a dick "pick faster", "wrong tomatto". Its quick money though and thats what I need. the one cool thing is that the local bar plays all the play off games for the canadiean backpackers. They even cook us sausages during the game. for game 6 I was so drunk at ten in the morning (when the game is on here) and the flames lost. they are going to replay the game for us tonight since most off us were working in the slave labour trade today. There is a really big skate park here too, dirt jumps, old school cement bowl, plus a new school street course. I've ridden there almost every day since I've been here, its the only thing keeping me sane. I should only need to work here for about 2 more weeks to have enough for the rest of the trip. Oh and the car runsgreat, the trip up here was cool. We would sleep in the car wake up with the sun, then drive to the nearest surf break. It was fun, thats what we will be doing on the way back down the coast to sydney. I can't wait. I still don't know about school either, that will kind of dictate how long I can stay here. I'm supposed to find out soon though ... I hope. Ok ... time to watch the flames. I am going to try and check this more often.
