So upset

My life is so pointless. I look at my life and all of my goals along the way and, honestly, what is the point?

Am I changing the world? No. Am I doing anything profound or meaningful at all with my life?? No. We live in a world where everything is about money and how much stuff we have.

The ironic part is we designed this systems ourselves. We are trapped in our own cage. We invented the system and now are forced to be slaves to it. We are the only animals who pay to live on this planet.

All I want is to make a difference and to help the world and it's creatures. Humanity included. But that wont ever happen because it doesn't pay. And if it doesn't pay you and your family starve. You can't feed your children and shelter them off of ideas and peace now can you?

I agree. We can't change the world en masse. That is impossible. I think the trick is to make changes in Life that only you can notice such as volunteering at an animal shelter or helping to clean the local playground, etc. etc. Also, if you have a child, you can teach them to do the same. In effect, by showing your child how to be kind and giving, you have changed the world especially how that kid will grow and conduct themselves in the world. I think that's a pretty significant change even if it is small.
