An unplanned update for no other reason than to say that miffy is one hell of a great young woman.

Some would say big deal, she offered to send people postcards while she was in Japan and you said "Yeah send me one". But the way I look at it is more like this. She was in Japan, having a great time, and thought enough of the people on here that she offered to write postcards to people (some of them, like me for instance she only knows as a nickname and whatever impression she gets from the posts we leave on her journal or wherever else she reads our words) and she took the time to write postcards and mail them to us. That is a young woman with a beautiful heart, and I feel the people she comes in contact with every day are probably blessed in some little way after being around someone, if only for a moment, as cool as that.

I hope that someday I am as thoughtful towards other people as she is.

If I am ever out that way, you better believe I will be buying her the best dinner the town has to offer.

Yeah, things like that mean that much to me.
