So yesterday I was talking to my friend who was opening for Steve Aoki, and at some point I said "Man, I really want to play Music Gym (The local afterhours spot) cause at 2 I just think everyone would be loaded and ready to get down." 5 minutes later I get a message asking me to play that spot.
Headed down town at like 8:30 was sitting at the bus stop when a truck pulled up, the door then flung open and a friend yelled "COME WITH ME IF YOU WANT TO LIVE!!!" and since it was raining and cold I was so down. So we jetted dt got to spot where steve was going to play got the vip service up on stage, free bottle service cause evidently that's how I roll. So we chilled there for like 2 or 3 hours until we were asked to leave cause evidently Steve Aoki didn't want anyone one stage with him... But that's not really important, I'm just bitter... What is important is that come 3 am when I went on I'm guessing I was wasted because I don't remember any of it but evidently it was great soooo I wish I could have been there. I guess the highlight was when I dropped "reach out and fell in a corner... And looking at the playist from last night it must have gotten pretty epic because Mortal Kombat and the Power Rangers theme were dropped back to back. I'm being told I killed it so I'm not that worried... Did lose my phone though... Sadly.
Anyways just woke up found out I'm playin something at a bar on monday and getting phat lewt to play at the highball (The super swank bar/restaurunt/bowlingally/skeeballjoint/karaokeplace next to the Alamo Draft House.) for the roaries... The local Austin awards thing.... Cause ya know... Every city needs it's own version of the grammies? Sadly I don't remember any of these deals going down soooo drunk wheelin' and dealin' for the win!!!
Also slightly surprised by the amount of P.Y.T.s I don't know that told me they knew who I was and followed me on twitter.
