I hate that I cant find decent 50's patterns, the only things I can really find in my size are costumes and they look ridiculous. Which is why I make skirts and tops but no dresses, since the skirts are easy as and I can usually find a top that will work with that style. Still pain in the ass if you want a cute swingdress or something

buy muslin at joanne fabrics, dye it. use pvc pipe for your background stand.
