i am in sooo much freaking pain right now. tonight was a good night overall. hung out with my sister in law, then went to the bar-where i surprised everyone with my karaoke selections:

typically you dont see many black people starting out with country, easing into rock, and finishing with 80's blue eyed soul
surgery is dec 21-starting to get just a weeeee bit nervous. its becoming "real" the food changes are drastic, and i have to be very careful. i have to remind myself that even with the surgery, i have to EAT throughout the day, and drink throughout the day. i basically gotta plan my meals out for the first couple of months including drinking liquids... wow
that means, that by vday-i will be at least thirty pounds lighter!!! woot
that is awesome. that means i can buy a cute little snazzy outfit and look all sexy on vday. now dont get me wrong, i feel sexy anyway. but like i said before, im at a weight that im totally not comfortable with anymore. and i know that for my health sake, i cant keep gaining weight. over the past year or so, ive developed so many health problems, and had a damn stroke! what the fuck....
in more happier news. i have been busy with making items for my shop! right now im sticking with making bags/jabots/neck collars. come february or so-when im healed up. ill start making my corsets
we were supposed to go to texas in april for rendezvous 2010 at the scarborough ren fair-but the plane tickets are $800!!!! for wes and i. i totally cant justify spending that much money on some damn plane tickets! so instead of doing the texas rendezvous in april, we are doing RENCONVENTION 2010!!! Which is right in baltimore! so its only like a 1.5 hr drive. woot! and then in may we are doing STEAMPUNK WORLDS FAIR!!!! which is in New Jersey. And its a close drive for us! So TWO major events back to back. I am a happy camper.
Now, the goal is to essentially fund most of the trip with my sales from my store. Which I am hoping come January it gets really flowing. I really, really think my bags are great, and I know there are quirky people like myself who would probably by the items! lol. Right now, the inventory is not that great...i only have 12 items. but i really do try my best to get at least two products made/photographed/listed each day. but fibromyalgia hinders that. oh, and natural light! my house is horribly lit, so i need natural light to photograph.

today i just got a bunch of new awesome fabric! oh my god, it made me so happy. two pieces came in through amazon! and they are BOTH GORGEOUS!!! lol. then i went to JoAnns with my sister in law, and browsed around the Red Tag section, and I believe I picked up 3 pieces from that, and then like 3 pieces of remnants. The remnant bin is my best friend <3 most of my bags are made of remnants of fabric that I have used for ren fairs and such.
talking about ren fairs. i just realized, that NONE of my current garb is going to fit me next year! that makes me REALLY happy. im also glad that I never finished that pink gown I was working on, because oooh boy-its a lot of awesome fabric. the only thing i did was the bodice of the gown. but now im going to take the fabric that was going to be used for the skirt-and make the corsets
im going to push out some ready made corsets, in a range of sizes. i notice that a lot of shops have stuff already made for 32/34/36/38. but rarely anything for 40 and above inch waists. so im going to push some of those out. along with the "standard" sizes
i just realized how long my blog is! lol. i guess this percoset is really making me all gabby!
so im going to head off, and take my pain riddled body to bed and cuddle with my husband. <3
