Ok-so this "secret" that I have been keeping. I cannot keep it any longer. I was going to wait until after said secret, but you guys are so awesome. And a lot of you have been there for me in the past with my major life events. I think that I just thought that if I told people, they wouldn't understand, but I forgot, this is SG. A place filled with alternative and very understanding people! lol.
So..here it goes.

On December 21, 2009-I am getting gastric bypass surgery. It's been something I've been contemplating with for years, and although this is my last resort, let me tell you, it is not the easiest resort. I've already been told that eating healthy and exercise is all I need, and I'm sorry, but that is not true. I can eat healthy from here to kingdom come, and exercise 3x a week, and the max I will lose is about 10 pounds and I will gain it back. Having fibromyalgia definitely does not make it easier. But the point is, I have tried all the diets, tried all the exercise plans, tried the pills, tried everything and yet I have not been successful. It has just gotten to the point where I am seriously worried about my health, as within the past year I have had three major health issues tacked on. I am also not happy with the way I look. Now I'm not saying being fat is making me sad, but it's making me unhappy. And I am a firm believer if I am not happy, it is up to me to change it, and that is what I am doing.
So I guess I am asking for your support, and acceptance. It's probably silly to want acceptance from a group of people on the internet. But like I said, there are some of you that have been there for me in major times, people whose friendships I value, and whether we have met in real life or just talk on the net, you still mean a lot to me.
When the surgery gets close. I will post all the necessary information. I will try my best, or have my husband attempt to post the hospital room telephone number, because I would love to hear from all of you!!! Because you guys rock. And I've never had surgery before, so I am a bit nervous.
But for now. I am going to get back to making things for my store. Right now, in a hope to drive up sales, I reduced shipping to all new items posted to 99cents. So don't be afraid to buy! lol.
