Here's a few tattoos that I did over the past two days.
The first was alot of fun to do. The reference is my girl. We had alot of fun taking the reference pictures, which led to a piece that I'm really happy with. I wanted to recreate the old pulp comic feel, but with a new twist. I'm trying now to primarily take all my references pictures as much as i can.
This second piece was defnitely something different. The reference is an old, crappy, black and white headshot of the star of bride of frankenstein. But there was something about the photo I loved and could see what could be done with it. I wanted to try something new with my color theory, so i created all of it since the reference was so bad. I was really happy with how it turned out and can't wait to do more pieces like that.
