just saw "24 Hour Party People" and "Velvet Goldmine" within about 24 hours of each other...plus the recent MOJO magazine had a post-punk c.d. attached to it so i have 70's British punk and No-Wave going through my head constantly, which makes me feel like i'm in high school again...which isn't too bad, i guess...
i like ewan macgregor and everything, but did anybody else think he did a terrible job playing iggy pop? i mean, he was just wooden, and seeing iggy in the one scene of "24 Hour Party People" twitching his way through a punked up version of "the Passenger" confirmed it for me...
