i should be able, if employment remains constant through fall term, to put aside enough for books for the rest of the school year, and also splurge on many big ticket items, like finishing off my computer and upgrading my gaming experience.

if employment holds through into winter term and beyond, i should be able to start putting serious money into the bank, something like 4-600 a month. with any luck, if i decide to stick with pcc for more than a year, i'll be able to either pay for it out of pocket starting the second year, or get an apartment.

or go with annie's suggestion, get a credit card, pay tuition on the card, and pay the card off immediately. thus i pay for school out of pocket and earn good credit at the same time.

technically speaking i could put that kind of money aside now, and get all the big ticket items later. i should probably do a little of both. wait and see. even with the excessive spending plan i'll still have twice as much in the bank at the start of winter term as i should need for books.
